Sunglass shopping

Sunglasses shopping can be frustrating at times . But with my few simple steps you will have a great pair of sunglasses that make u look amazing in no time .

The fist step to finding the perfect sunglasses is to first know the shape of your face.
If you already know your shape u can skip this step if not look at the picture below and choose the face that is most like yours.





Second step .
Now that u have your face shape its time to find out what glasses look best on you .


Round shaped faces

If u have a round face its best to get sunglasses that are angular to balance out the roundness of your face . Also sunglasses with strait lines are great for round faces so look for sunglasses like that. if u have a large face and large features then stay away from tiny sunglasses. Here are a few glasses that might look good on you

If your face is square like then your going to want sunglasses that are curved ( slightly rounded ) they will help to soften out the square look to your face and also Sunglasses that sit higher on your face will draw attention towards your eyes and away from your sharp jaw line  .Here are a few glasses that might look good on you










If your have a heart shaped face then your going to want to go with sunglasses that are bigger on the top and smaller on the bottom just like your face .Aviator sunglasses are a great example.You  can also get away with certain round and rectangular shaped sunglasses but always make sure that the top is bigger than the bottom. your face is the most easiest  face to buy for. Oval shaped faces will go with most any sunglasses including 
round or square frames, over sized shades, and aviators. Although depending on your individual features some glasses might not look as good as others. Make sure when buying your sunglasses that they are in proportion to your face ,like if u have a small face and features stay away from huge sunglasses and the other way around, if u have a big face and features stay away from tiny sunglasses . Here are a few that might work for you.







If your face is long shaped then its best to get wide rectangle over sized glasses beacuse they will cover more of your face breaking up its length. Also getting sunglasses with thick frames helps give the illusion of more facial width.









Now that you know the shape of your sunglasses your going to need to pick a color .

You can’t go wrong with basic black. Everyone should have at least one pair of big black sunglasses for everyday wear .

Pay attention to the colors you wear most often. You want your sunglasses to work with the majority of your clothes. Do you wear cool colors most often? If so, try to stay with cool colored sunglasses in shades like black, gray, blue, and silver. If you tend to wear warmer colors, look for brown, red, gold, or similar warm-toned sunglasses.

Try to buy shades in one of the colors that flatters you most. Shades that flatter your skin and hair coloring will bring out your features and make you glow. Not sure which colors look best on you?
Have fun and experiment with cheap, colorful frames. Neon sunglasses are a huge trend for summer  so I recommend having some fun and trying the trend out with some inexpensive frames. Sometimes it’s fun to wear ridiculously bright, cheap sunglasses. Keep the rest of your outfit simple & classy but go wild with your shades for a look that’s very modern and right-now.

And finally last but not least

try on as many pairs as you can! It’s fun to buy cheap ones online sometimes, but you should really go to a store and test them out in person. Each pair is different and will make your face look different. Experiment as much as possible ’til you find your perfect ones!
