How to make quick cute stretchy ring

Did u read my post on stretchy rings ?And now you want to make one ? Well your in luck. Here is a super quick and cute pattern .

1-Get your tools
Scissors
Stretchy beading cord
Super glue
One big fancy bead ( or anything that you want to use for the center part)
Tiny beads in 2 colors if u want a pattern or if u only want one bead color that's fine to.( your going to need as many as it will take to go around your finger )
Alligator clamp.

2-Cut your cord
cut the cord so that its double the size of your finger ( remember always cut more then less )
then place the alligator clamp on one end of the cord.

3- Beading
Now you can start to put your beads on the string. you can either rotate color 1 and color 2 or just all one color or make up any pattern you want. stop beading when u get a little less than half way.

4- Center bead
Now its time to put on your center bead . After the bead is on then finish your small bead pattern until the ring is finished leaving a little cord on each end for tying

5-Tie off
Take the extra cord at each end and make a double knot .

6- Glue it
Take the super glue and drop a dot of it onto the knot that you made. And let it dry.

7 - Try it on
After the glue has completely dried its time to try your new stretchy ring on.

Here are two that i made .

How to make a sea shell necklace

First lay down a plastic tablecloth on your work area
Then pick out the shells your going to use for your necklace.

Find a pin or anything like a pin to use for making a hole in the shell ( if your shells are hard then u might want to use a little drill )

Now take the shell and turn it upside down like the next picture and poke the pin into the shell being careful not to break the shell.
Now time to get your necklace cord. I used beading wire from hobby lobby it seemed to work good for me.And cut it about  30 inches long.
Time to pick out beads. I choose peals in 2 sizes one large and one small lay them out on a beading tray.

Take the end of your wire and use a tiny alligator clamp to hold the end of the wire to keep the beads and shells from falling off.

Time to string on your first bead. String it on the wire so that the inside of the shell is touching the alligator clamp

String on a small bead and then another shell but this time the opposite way so that the back of the shell is touching the bead.

now string on a big bead and another shell the inside of the shell touching the bead

And then repeat this pattern until your necklace is almost full leaving just a little at each end to add the clasp.

Now time to put on the clasp!

Put a crimp bead on to the wire and then the clasp.

Then slip the send of the wire back thru the crimp bead and crimp it.

Do the same on the other side and cut off any extra wire from the end. Then your necklace is finished.

Here i am modeling the finished product. Its so cute for Summer!
